Assessments

Our assessments are designed to understand the person and their context so we can make recommendations that are fair, practical, and culturally safe.

Person-Centred

We place the person and their story at the centre of every assessment, taking the time to understand their strengths, needs, goals and lived experience within family, culture and community.

Trauma-Informed

Our assessments recognise the impacts of trauma and seek to minimise harm by creating safe, predictable processes, avoiding re‑traumatisation, and focusing on healing and hope rather than blame.

Strengths-Based

We look beyond presenting problems to identify existing strengths, resources and protective factors, using these as the foundation for realistic, constructive recommendations and support plans.
